101, 102 and 104. Most of the land for the project has been
acquired and the paper work is in progress, officials said.
Earlier marked for a Golf
Course, Fair Ground and a sports centre respectively, the
three sectors will now house two indoor stadia and two
outdoor stadia for cricket, football and hockey.
The Authority will invite consultants from all over the
country to plan the complex. “We are keeping an eye on the
Commonwealth Games and the Asiad, which will need
international standard facilities.”
While most of the money for the project will be pumped in by
the Noida Authority, the Uttar Pradesh government might be
requested for other resources as well as monetary help,
officials added. |
