The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has given Rs.3 crore to the transport department to procure these buses. ‘With this, the government is attempting to redress the long standing demand for an adequate public transport system to Gurgaon.An air-conditioned low-floor Compressed Natural Gas-fuelled intra-city bus service will soon be started in Gurgaon. The service is being started by the Haryana government to target Gurgaon’s up market newer areas. The service is expected to start within a month. ‘To ensure that these buses actually benefit residential areas in Gurgaon, particularly the newly developed ones, the Gurgaon administration will seek feedback from resident welfare associations, industrial associations and others to finalize the bus routes.The bus service had been in the pipeline since January this year, when Haryana Roadways launched the first CNG-fuelled High –Capacity Bus Service between Gurgaon and Delhi on a three-month trial.The city bus service, introduced a year back, failed as the bus operators plied their buses on lucrative routes, which they decided on themselves. Another experiment to start two Haryana Roadways exclusively for newer areas in Gurgaon had also fallen flat for want of adequate publicity.

Gurgaon News: Gurgaon doctor commits suicide

A 35-Year-OLD doctor committed suicide by consuming poison at his residence in Sector 15, Gurgaon, on Friday night.
The doctor had been depressed due to martial problems, the police said. He had married in May last year. But a few months later, his wife separated. A few months back, his in-laws had registered a case of dowry harassment against Dr Ashu Kundri. The doctor wrote in his suicide note that his wife had taken away his degree certificate because of which he could not pursue higher studies. Kundri committed suicide around 11 pm. His parents rushed him to a nearby hospital but he died on the way to the hospital.

The HARYANA government had hired a private agency to redraft the Gurgaon Master Plan 2021. Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has quashed the plan after report of information leakage. The agency will now conduct a detailed study and then assist the town & Country Planning department in reformulating the Master Plan in two months time.

Gurgaon Property News:Gurgaon plot auction fetches record Rs 261.80 crore

Cashing in on the unprecedented boom in Gurgaon’s property market, Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) raked in a staggering Rs 261.80 crores by auctioning off 23 commercial sites located in the proposed City Center in Sector 29.
The windfall in today’s auction exceeded the combined reserve price of the properties — Rs 53.93 crores. As many as 224 bidders competed for hotel and shop-cum-office sites despite HUDA increasing the eligibility fee from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 5 lakh.
The top-grosser in today’s auction was a 825 square meter 3-bay hotel site with a 3-storey basement which fetched Rs. 32.76 crores against its reserve price of 4.45 crores.
