If any company in this survey seems to have done a
good job of meeting employee expectations it was Gurgaon - based
Daksh e-services. Most employees say they joined the company because
they expected to make good money in a good work environment and grow
fast in their careers. Now, they say they are making somewhat decent
money in a pretty decent work environment and are growing reasonably
fast. At least, growth opportunities are not one of the big reasons
they are likely to leave the company.
All told it was an impressive performance. It came among the top 5
in every single parameter with the greatest satisfaction in the
industry on job content and career growth opportunities.
Composite satisfaction (rank # 3) was high with excellent scores on
" I get a sense of great professional and personal accomplishment
from the work I do here," "I look forward to a day at work" and "I
feel pride saying that I work for this company". Every single
employee surveyed said that they would recommend the company to a
close friend. It also ranked among the top 3 in 29 of the 61
individual statements measured.
The biggest upside though was employee fidelity. Typically, most
companies in this survey with a younger than average age profile
have shown a great deal of instability. A feeling of wanting to take
flight, so to speak. And far higher stress levels. Daksh was one of
the rare exceptions. Employees showed among the lowest stress levels
and a good 82% said they looked forward to long-term career in the
company. More interestingly, about 40% were strongly committed to a
long - term career in the call center industry itself.
