News: HUDA to put licensed colonizers’ list on web |
|
HUDA to put licensed colonAt the time state’s property prices are rocketing skywards, more and more people are investing especially in Gurgaon. At the time when various colonizers are coming up with their news projects, many buyers have ended up losing their hard earned savings by investing in the properties developed by unlicensed
colonizers,, which have been in the line of fire from the administration.
Considering the problems faced by the general public and the taking of an important step to save the public from the clutches of unauthorized colonizers, HUDA has decided to put a list of its licensed colonizers on its website.
Sometime back, the Punjab Urban Development Authority (PUDA) has also put the list of the licensed colonizers on the Internet to save the public. PUDA has made it mandatory for the developers to get permission before pre-launching of their plans and clearance of the layout plans before advertising the sale of apartments or plots from the competent authority.
Now, even HUDA has decided to put the list on net and say that they had decided to do so even before the recent PUDA move. “When have decided to put the list of licensed colonizers on the Internet and the software for the same is being developed. This would enable us to inform the general public about the licensed colonizers and their approved projects. The list would be put for the whole state. Since, many such projects are coming up in Gurgaon, we don’t want anyone to be duped by unscrupulous elements that further tarnish the government’s and our image. We might also consider the seeking of permission before advertising, “said HUDA administrator S.P. Gupta.
