Dramatic
rescue for Gurgaon resident |

Gurgaon News: It was sheer
chance that got Gurgaon resident Vineet Juneja out of
the clutches of abductors, in a dramatic rescue carried
out by vigilant shopkeepers in Ambala on Tuesday. The
27-year-old resident of Windsor Estate, DLF phase V,
employed with IBM Daksh, was found bundled in the boot
of a Hyundai Accent, that belonged to him, with his
mouth gagged and hands and feet tied. While one of the
abductors has been arrested, the other managed to flee. |

Juneja
told the police that he had landed at the Delhi airport
from the US on Monday night and was returning in his
car, which was parked at the airport itself, around 3 am
when he was abducted.
According to the police, four people forced Juneja to a
halt by stopping their Indica in front of his car.
Abandoning their own vehicle, they tied Juneja, stuffed
him in the boot of his car, and drove the Accent to
Ambala. Two of the people got off en route. |
