  Woman accuses husband, ex-wife of blackmail    
 

Gurgaon News: A WOMAN has accused her husband and his ex-wife of blackmailing her in Gurgaon. The case, which was earlier registered at DLF Police Station, has now been transferred to the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), Gurgaon. This was stated in a reply filed by SP, Gurgaon in the Punjab and Haryana High Court yesterday. The petitioner Rashmi Singh, Jitendra Singh’s wife of 14 years, had accused him of teaming up with his ex-wife Manju to blackmail her into obtaining property worth Rs 2 lakh from her.

 
 

Rashmi had complained against the duo on May 15 at DLF Police Station but no case was registered.

In his reply to the HC, the Gurgaon SP stated that raids were conducted twice to nab the accused but they could not be traced.

Rashmi’s counsel, however, refuted his statement in court and stated that she had accompanied the Investigating Officer and identified her husband in front of him.
